TAKE ACTION
I always cared about animals. But being a part of this community showed me how to speak up for them.
Every person has a role to play in protecting wildlife.
Stay informed about the issues shaping their future. Speak up for strong wildlife protections. Contact lawmakers, engage in your community and use your vote to support leaders who will stand up for wildlife.
And know when you give to Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, you help power advocacy, public education, grassroots mobilization and campaigns at the federal and state levels.
Individual actions build collective power. Together, we can strengthen public support for wildlife, influence the decisions that matter and help secure a safer future for wildlife and the places they call home.
Become a Warrior for Wildlife
Be a part of a growing grassroots community standing up for America’s wildlife.
Wolves, sea turtles, manatees, grizzly bears and hundreds of other imperiled species depend on strong protections to survive — and on people willing to defend them. As an advocate with the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund, you'll contact lawmakers, speak up in your community and help defend the bedrock laws that stand between vulnerable species and extinction.
Stand Up for the Endangered Species Act
For more than 50 years, the Endangered Species Act has served as a vital safeguard for wildlife at risk of extinction. But this landmark law—and the wildlife and habitats it protects—continues to face attacks and efforts to weaken its protections. Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund works to hold elected leaders accountable, advance strong conservation policies and defend the laws that give vulnerable species a fighting chance.
